All CSC on developing complex projects

This chapter, Do one thing, and do it well, gives good advice on how to approach a complex project and break it into smaller pieces. And don't we all need to know how to do that! It's from Better, Faster, Lighter Java by Bruce A. Tate and Justin Gehtland, published by O'Reilly.

The latter part of the chapter gets deeper into Java enterprise-level (i.e., big business) stuff, and the whole book looks good on those ideas. The first part of the chapter (through the book's page 49) is good advice for all of us, no matter what the programming environment.
