Ahh... I should have emphasized that it's a five-page document, with particulars on which packages to install for a minimimal X setup. Try again, choosing only a few, and it won't take so long. Another option is to download Cygwin (or just the installation files, which would make a smaller package) to a machine at school and make a CD to take home. It's already installed on some machines in the lab; I can show you which ones. Nice pic of you, btw.
