242 Plan B

It was indeed a great day for a bike ride, though a little warm for statistics. Doing the survey took much longer than I anticipated (about three hours, not counting travel), and I found, much to my chagrin, that I was unable to stick to the protocol as I designed it. A pilot study would have shown me that. What I should have done was sit down and make a new plan; in the circumstances, I cannot persuade myself that the data I did collect are legitimate.

So I have designed a new, different study. Here is my new proposal.
